Woo Won Suk

Chef Woo Won Suk started pastry in 1980. He went abroad to learn advanced skills at the Japan Institute of Baking and started his career as pastry chef at ‘Lepidor’ when he came back to Korea. He has been running pastry store ‘Pièce Montée’ for over 20 years, creating unique confectionery, pastry and baked goods since 1994.

In 2005, Chef Suk became a member of the Académie Culinaire de France and sub-PR commissioner of the Korean Bakers Association. He won the gold medal at the World Pastry Cup in the chocolate category in 1999 and 2001, and, as a pastry expert, held jury positions at the 2007 World Chocolate Masters, the 2008 World Pastry Team Championship in America and the 2011 Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie in France.
