David Pasquiet, owner of L’Instant Chocolat, Crans-Montana & Sion.
This native French chocolatier has been working in Switzerland for 23 years and running a chocolaterie in Crans-Montana for seven. He opened a second store in Sion in 2008. An opportunity prompted David Pasquiet to take charge of a nougaterie. However, this skilled chef soon realised that chocolate offered far greater creative potential than nougat, discovering his own particular fascination with chocolate-making. David thus proceeded to develop a passion which continues to this day and is reflected in his tremendous skill and the many awards and prizes he has received. On 21 January 2013 he was awarded the title of Swiss Chocolate Master in Bern, and he will represent Switzerland at the World Chocolate Masters in Paris from 28 to 30 October 2013.
