Inspiration from Royal Richmond Park

Richmond Park is the largest royal park in London spanning 2500 acres. It is close to where I live and work and I go there to get away from the manic stress of day to day life and to get inspiration. In 1625 King Charles the 1st enclosed the park and filled it with 2000 red and fallow deer to hunt, the descendants still roam the park freely today. The Park has changed little over the centuries and, although it is surrounded by human habitation, the varied landscape of hills, woodland gardens and grasslands set among ancient trees abounds in all sorts of British wildlife.
